I am interested in both plaintiff and defense cases for medical malpractice, personal injury, workman's compensation, product liability, criminal and any other case involving medical records review. I have over 17 years experience in the health care industry in managed care, bedside care, physician office and management settings. I have been professionally trained to review medical-related cases with knowledge on standards of care and identifying deviations from those standards. I have reviewed medical records from a case management and quality analyst perspective and have the ability to identify areas of concern and missing items. This training allows me to assess and critique health care. I have insight into the inner workings of managed care organizations, hospitals and physicians' offices. I have clinical experience working with Pediatric patients with a variety of medical concerns including cancer, heart conditions, sickle cell and other acute and chronic conditions. Educationally, I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Master's of Science in Health Care Administration, (MSHCA). I am currently certified as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), a Managed Care Professional (MHP) and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC).
