I have 20+ years clinical experience in labor & delivery, post partum, and normal newborn. I am still clinically active in my role as a Charge Nurse at a community hospital. I also have experience as a Nurse Manager including development of unit policies and procedures, staff education, ensuring adherence to recognized standards of care, and risk management. In addition to my clinical experience, I have been working as a Legal Nurse Consultant since 1999. I hold several specialty area certifications including Inpatient Obstetrics, Fetal Monitoring, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Instructor, Limited OB Ultrasound, and Legal Nurse Consultant Certification. I am an active member of AWHONN, AALNC ,and am an affiliate member of ACOG. I have had the opportunity to work with both Defense and Plaintiff attorneys on numerous cases and have been asked to provide several expert opinion reports as well as case reviews. I have provided expert witness testimony in deposition on several occasions.. I am able to tailor reports to fit the needs of the individual attorney-client and have worked with several LNCs in a subcontracting role in OB, medical-surgical, product liability, and personal injury cases..
